What is the dress code?

Answer

Smart. Dresses, smart trousers, shirts, suits, smart shoes/heels etc. We also ask to please refrain from wearing shades of white and green, if possible, as these are the wedding party colours. Koks yra aprangos kodas? - Puošnus. Suknelės, elegantiškos kelnės, marškiniai, kostiumai, puošnus batai/kulniai ir kt. Taip pat prašome, jei įmanoma, nevilkėti baltų arba žalių atspalvių, nes tai yra vestuvių šventės spalvos.

What is 'Gift giving'?

Answer

Sveikinimai/gift giving is a short interaction where all guests personally congratulate and give their well wishes to the newlyweds. This is a Lithuanian tradition, where instead of posting any cards/gifts or words of wisdom into a 'gift/card box' you personally hand it to the newlyweds and say what you wish them in their married life. Kas yra 'Gift giving'? - Sveikinimai/dovanų įteikimas – tai trumpas palinkėjimas, kurio metu visi svečiai asmeniškai sveikina jaunavedžius. Tai yra lietuviška tradicija.

Whats for dinner?

Answer

The dinner menu will be finalised around June time. Once it's set, Justina will ask individually for your individual preference, most likely between chicken & pork. If you're intolerant/allergic/vegan/vegetarian, please state this in the RSVP follow on question like so... eg: Justina - vegan/allergic to nuts/only eats fish ... Kas vakarienei? - Vakarienės meniu bus baigtas maždaug birželio mėn. Kai jis bus nustatytas, Justina individualiai paklaus jūsų pasirinkimo, greičiausiai tarp vištienos ir kiaulienos. Jei esate netoleruojantis / alergiškas / veganas / vegetarė, nurodykite tai 'RSVP' puslapyje kur pranešite dalyvavimą... pvz.: Justina - veganė / alergiška riešutams / valgo tik žuvį ... ​

Why do we vacate the bedrooms so early?

Answer

The detached house occupants need to leave their bedrooms early so the venue can start cleaning for the next event that same day. The rooms above the main venue itself can stay there a bit longer. For those who will use the sauna/jacuzzi/lake and will want to shower after, there is a shower and changing room in the sauna house and in the main building too. Kodėl taip anksti atlaisviname miegamuosius? - Atskiro namo gyventojai turi anksti palikti savo miegamuosius, kad tą pačią dieną būtų galima pradėti valyti kitam renginiui. Virš pačios pagrindinės salės esantys kambariai gali likti ten šiek tiek ilgiau. Tiems, kurie naudosis pirtimi/sūkurinė vonia/ežere ir po to norės nusiprausti, pirties namelyje ir pagrindiniame pastate taip pat yra dušas ir persirengimo kambarys.

What happens on Day 2?

Answer

We will have breakfast, sauna* & outdoor hot tub* before we check out at 13:00. If the weather allows, the newlyweds would love everyone to come to Palanga beach to spend the rest of the day there. (On google maps) Location of the beach we will be at, is at the end of S. Dariaus ir S. Gireno g., entrance by 'Voveraite' hotel, somewhere around the 'Havana Beach Bar'. *Sauna and hot tub will be weather dependent. Kas įvyks antrą dieną? - Prieš išvykdami 13:00, papusryčiausime, mėgausimės pirtimi* ir lauko kubilu* jei oras leis. Jaunavedžiai norėtų, kad visi atvyktų į Palangos paplūdimį ir praleistų ten likusią dienos dalį. (Google maps) Paplūdimio vieta, kurioje būsime, yra S. Dariaus ir S. Girėno g. gale, įėjimas pro „Voveraitės“ viešbutį, kažkur aplink „Havana Beach Bar“. *Sauna ir kubilas priklausys nuo oro sąlygų. ​
