Maid of Honor
This girl was born 18 days before me. I have known her since my single digit days. She is sassy, stubborn, smart and (single). We grew up in the same apartment, then apartment building, then moved across the street from each other and now just 2 blocks from each other. We have shared the same moments since we were babies so much so that everyone still thinks she is my biological sister. She has been next to me all 24 years of my life so I couldn't imagine her anywhere but besides me when I get to marry Justin.
Best Man
Eric and I met at UNT and went through the pre-PA grind together and grew to be close friends and fellow PAs since. As my wingman, he helped me navigate from one proposal to another and added perspective (and comic relief) all the while.
Baby Maid of Honor
Meet my baby sister, except she's not such a baby. She steals all my clothes, yells at me for wearing sweatpants and makes better chai (tea) than me. But I am convinced that no one on this planet will understand my humor and my craziness as much as my sister does. She is basically the mini, more tan, preppy and more fashionable version of me. Leaving her in Chicago will be the hardest part about marrying Justin.
Groomsman
Jason is my cousin and a mini-me of sorts, going to the same middle school, high school, joining orchestra, church choir, and now studying at UNT like I did. Seeing him grow up from a nerdy kid with glasses to the cool guy with Warby Parker's has been a joy.
Bridesmaid
Another one of my non-biological sisters, but basically sister. Diana and I have been close all our lives but our college years were pivotal for us. Having someone to confide in and pray with, helped me conquer the more tough years of my life. Diana and her husband, Dany are the masterminds behind setting Justin and I up so we are extremely thankful for their perseverance and (stubbornness).
Groomsman
Jeremy is my ultra-talented cousin from Orlando and one of the chillest guys you will ever meet. Sorry ladies, he's off the market :).
Bridesmaid
My forever soul sister. I met her on our InterVarsity launch meeting and we proceeded to build a friendship on the solid foundation of Friday night pasta dates. We then became roommates senior year of college- one of the most memorable years of my life because of her and my 2 other 410deej sisters (shout out to Danielle and Eva#2). Eva is the most blunt, loyal and hilarious person I have in my life. I am forever thankful for our friendship.
Groomsman
Chris is a good friend and someone who's been in the proverbial trenches with me to get things going at church. He is also my personal style and grooming consultant and can fold a mean pocket square.
Bridesmaid
It was always Aimee, Bex and me. Bex has been my other sister for over 18 years. Even after years of being separated, we never lost contact. We would write letters on aluminum foil, send emails and make secret phone calls late into the nights without our parents knowing. Spending time with her means lots of laughter, inside jokes and sushi. Bex has been one of my most ecstatic cheerleaders as I have begun this journey with Justin especially in my most doubtful times. Couldn't picture my wedding day without my homegirl in the picture.
Groomsman
Shawn and I were nearly inseparable growing up and even formed a band called SSJJ4God. While our tour was short-lived, we have continued to maintain our friendship to this day.
Bridesmaid
My almost SIL (sister-in-law). Having Jeena around during these past months of dating Justin and then into serious pre-marriage time, has been extremely beneficial for me. She is my inside source for all the Justin details and all the real time documentary on Justin's most embarrassing moments, in the form of snapchats. But really, even before I said yes to marry this boy, I always felt Jeena's silent support in the background which really helps in the scary decision process. Super thankful we're already sisters before its official :)
Groomsman
Aby is my brother in law and the next IPC General Secretary in waiting. It's an honor to have him and Jeena on stage with Justina and myself as we get married and explore what God has in store for our two families.
Bridesmaid
PT school sister. Kelsey is my go-to study buddy and wedding enthusiast. We've spent too many hours together whether it be in lab practicing for our musculoskeletal lab practical, at Starbucks planning out our wedding, or just sitting around on the couch talking life. Couldn't have imagined getting through physical therapy school without her.
Groomsman
Joshua is my cousin and the last of the Kariyalil crew but while he's the youngest, he can probably take most of us out with his MMA skills.
Bridesmaid
The 6 musketeers: Joel, Jaimy, Ashley, Aimee, Isaac and me. Us 6 did everything together from riding bikes around in our tiny apartments, to playing police with our real bikes in the streets, to riding around together everywhere in cars years later. I've taken care of this girl since she was a baby and because of it, she is spunky so I keep her around. Nowadays, if I ever need someone to make me laugh or give me a new song suggestion, it's my Achi.
Groomsman
Joel is Justina's brother and my brother-in-law in waiting. I'm excited to get to know Joel even more in the coming years and hope that his Mathew-Eapen wit and humor rubs off on me.
