Let’s celebrate!

Our story is a modern day, 21st century love story.... We met back in fall of 2018 on the dating app "Hinge" where users are required to put some personality characteristics and a few photos for their profile. We both happened to "like" each other's photos and soon started chatting. Our first date was at a friend's Greek restaurant, Mykonos, in Greenlake, Seattle. We quickly hit it off and bonded over our love for Gonzaga basketball, skiing/snowboarding, golf, and the fact that we both happened to attend Bethany Community Church. Fun fact - Popo, Justin's grandma, started a rumor among the family that we met at church... LOL. Our next few dates consisted of golfing, eating xiao long bao at Din Tai Fung, playing arcade games at the Washington state fair, and attending a Scotty McCreery country concert. Over the past few years we have taken trips all over together; Hawaii, Cabo, San Francisco, Scottsdale, Denver, Big Sky, Whistler, and Steamboat to name a few. We have a great time in the mountains skiing together, playing golf at Glen Acres, cooking for each other, and are always down for a spontaneous weekend adventure. In March of 2021, while on a ski trip with Sarah's sister and cousins, Justin proposed on the top of his favorite childhood mountain, Mt. Bachelor (ironic we know). We were both so nervous at the time we can barely remember what we said to each other in that moment but we know Sarah did say "Yes"! Thankfully, Sarah's sister, Perry, was able to capture it all on video! Justin had the whole weekend planned out perfectly and invited both his parents and Sarah's parents for a celebratory dinner. Sarah was very surprised and super excited to celebrate with her family. Now we can't wait to start this next chapter of our lives together and celebrate with everyone!
