Tahoe East Shore Trail
This paved, 3-mile path offers stunning views of Lake Tahoe and provides access to several beaches and scenic spots along the eastern shoreline. Parking is available at the Tunnel Creek parking lot nearby, and self-paid parking is required to help support trail maintenance.

Tahoe Meadows Trailhead
The Mt. Rose Meadows hike begins at the Tahoe Meadows Trailhead, located along Nevada State Route 431 (Mount Rose Highway). From Reno or Carson City, drive approximately 16 miles west on SR 431 to reach the trailhead parking area on your left, just before the open meadows. This trailhead provides access to various hiking routes, including the Tahoe Rim Trail and the Mt. Rose Summit Trail. The area is known for its scenic beauty, offering opportunities to explore alpine meadows and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
