Zipping into marriage like....
Justin and Ki first met in the Fall of 2016 at the University of Maryland Law School, both assigned to section D, where they shared all of their classes. Although they started off as close friends rather than romantic partners, their connection deepened over shared social events — Justin near the Orioles Baseball Stadium and Ki in a trendy apartment in Fells Point. After graduation, Ki spent some time with family out of state, temporarily separating the two friends. During this time, Justin often reminisced about the enjoyable moments they had shared and made an effort to stay connected, determined to remain a part of each other's lives. Ki was always excited to hear from Justin and looked forward to their heartfelt conversations. Upon Ki's return to Maryland, their bond continued to grow, marked by regular conversations and frequent meet-ups. However, the onset of the pandemic in early 2020 curtailed their social interactions like everyone else. Despite Justin's desire to ask Ki out, pandemic restrictions posed challenges. Eventually, in a moment of courage, Justin proposed a casual movie night with takeout, to which Ki happily agreed. In July 2020, as they settled in to watch "The Other Guys," staring Will Ferrell and Mark Walberg, the laughter and connection they shared that day brought their relationship to a whole new level. From that moment on, everything changed. Justin officially asked Ki to be his girlfriend on September 13, 2020, and she eagerly accepted. Then, on October 21, 2023, he proposed to her on a beautiful fall day at the Inn at Perry Cabin, after a picturesque sailboat ride around the Chesapeake Bay. Overwhelmed with joyful tears in her eyes, she said yes!
