You know that one friend who swears they’ve found “the perfect person” for you? Well, we had one of those (thanks, Tori!) — but at the time, we weren’t exactly on board. Fast forward a few weeks, and fate decided to have a little fun. One night, one of us (Ellie) was scrolling on Facebook and somehow managed to send the other a friend request — even though we’d never actually met. Realizing the mistake, the request was quickly taken back, hoping no one would notice. (Spoiler: it was noticed.) The next morning, a new friend request popped up — this time on purpose. We started chatting, and before long, we were talking nonstop. It felt easy, fun, and a little like we’d known each other forever. We finally met at Tori's house (neutral territory), who so graciously hosted Football Sunday. Clearly we were both nervous but eventually the ice was broken, the laughter started, and the rest is our favorite story to tell. What began as an accidental click turned into the best decision we never planned to make.
