This is one of Chelsea's family's favorite places to spend time with friends and family! The Tammany Trace Bike Trail will take you from the picturesque Mandeville lakefront all the way through the lush greenery of Slidell. Plenty of bike rental options near the Mandeville and Covington trailheads.

You can't go wrong with this New Orleans classic! Justin and I stayed at the Hotel Monteleone on his first visit to Louisiana.

Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden

The Audiberts always recommend the Sculpture Garden in City Park to New Orleans newcomers! If you get hot, there's even a Cafe Du Monde right in City Park to grab a famous chicory iced coffee.

The 2,800-acre park is located on the shore of Lake Pontchartrain and is an absolute gem! There is a white sandy beach lined with mossy Cypress trees, and take a good look, because you might see the park pop up when Where the Crawdads Sing comes out.
