They first met at the gym in January 2020, recognizing each other from church. David was all sweaty, and Brianna was in the zone so they didn't really interact. However, their friend Sean was more social and introduced them to each other. One month later, Brianna hosted a game night that David attended, and this is where they had their first spark. ..... and then COVID hit ..... Quarantining and working from home didn't give them many opportunities to interact in person. One day, Bri posted bagels she made on her instagram story to which David replied with the fire emoji. He asked for her number and things started to build-on from there.
On a chilly Saturday evening, around 8:30PM, David and Brianna were walking around the Seaport in Boston, coming from a lovely dinner date. Brianna was clueless, as she talking away about selfies but meanwhile David had the planned proposal on his mind. As they approached the location, Brianna noticed the isle of candles and marquee letters spelling out "Marry Me". She first thought this was a well thought out moment for some other happy couple, not knowing she was about to get proposed to! As they walked towards the candle lit isle, with a violinist playing "Can't Help Falling In Love", she spotted a dear friend and co-conspirator walk up and mic David. Still confused, she then saw another dear friend with a video camera capturing the moment. Suddenly, it hit her! It was all for her. The twinkly lights, the rose petals arranged in a heart shape, the live violinist...its here!..the proposal! David guided her over, told her how much he loved her and wanted to spend his life with her, and then he popped the question! Overjoyed and teary-eyed, the newly engaged couple welcomed friends and family who beautifully help orchestrate the whole affair. After many embraces and heartfelt speeches, the couple was gifted a beautiful horse drawn carriage ride throughout the city as they rejoiced in their engagement.
