Am I invited to all wedding events?

Answer

Due to venue capacity and planning, each event is by invitation only. Please refer to your RSVP or invitation details to see which events you are invited to attend.

What is the difference between the Friday and Sunday ceremonies?

Answer

Friday is our Nigerian traditional ceremony, celebrating culture, family, and heritage. Sunday is our American wedding ceremony and reception. Both are very special to us, and together they reflect our full love story

What should I wear to the Nigerian traditional ceremony?

Answer

Guests are encouraged to wear traditional Nigerian attire or bright, festive formal wear. Color is welcome and celebrated!

What should I wear to the Sunday wedding?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. We encourage elegant attire, and guests are welcome to wear jewel tones (such as emerald, sapphire, burgundy, or plum) to complement the celebration. Color inspiration can be found under "Wedding Attire" tab

Is there a money spray tradition?

Answer

Yes! Spraying (placing money on the couple while dancing) is a common and fun tradition. So please feel free to bring cash!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We ask that guests remain unplugged during the ceremony and enjoy the moment with us. Feel free to take photos during the reception!

We kindly request an adults-only celebration for Sunday.
