What is the dress code for ceremony and reception?

Answer

Formal attire, light and airy resort elegance. We invite guests to dress in elevated, breathable styles that reflect our coastal setting in Mexico. Men - Suits are preffered. Breathable fabrics like linen or cotton blends work great. Tie optional. Women - Maxi or floor-length dresses, elevated midi dresses. Flowy silhouettes, airy fabrics are encouraged. The events will take place on a deck and paved surface, so heels are perfectly suitable.

Resort casual. We invite guests to wear relaxed, polished attire appropriate for a seaside evening.

How do I book my room with the room block?

Answer

Navigate to the Travel tab and use the link to book your room with our travel agent, Kimberly Gould. In order to book with our discounted room block with exclusive offers you will need to pay in full by July 18, 2026. For those who purchase a travel protection plan (TPP) the final payment is due September 2, 2026.

What activites are avilable at the resort?

Answer

So much! Iberostar Selection Playa Mita is all-inclusive, so you can spend your time however you’d like—relaxing by the pool or beach, enjoying the restaurants and drinks, or joining in on daily activities and nightly entertainment. If you’re feeling active, you can play tennis, visit the nearby golf course, or try water activities like kayaking, snorkeling, and paddleboarding. There’s also a spa if you’re in the mood for a more relaxing day. For those who want to explore, the area around Punta de Mita offers excursions like hiking, boat tours, snorkeling trips, and even city visits to nearby towns like Sayulita.

What nearby towns or attractions can guests explore?

Puerto Vallarta is about a 45-minute to 1-hour drive from Iberostar Selection Playa Mita, making it an easy and worthwhile day trip. It’s a vibrant coastal city known for its beautiful waterfront (Malecón), local shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions—perfect for exploring, dining, and sightseeing. Even closer to the resort is Sayulita, a charming beach town just about 25–30 minutes away. Sayulita is known for its colorful streets, local boutiques, casual restaurants, and laid-back surf vibe. You can spend the day shopping, relaxing on the beach, grabbing drinks, or even taking a surf lesson. Both are great options if you’d like to explore beyond the resort and experience more of the local area.

When should I book my travel?

Is transportation included to/from airport?

Answer

Yes! Transportation is included when room is booked through our room block. Details will be provided after booking. Shuttles will run between the airport and the resort.

Yes! Iberostar Selection Playa Mita is all-inclusive, meaning your stay includes meals, drinks (including alcohol), and many activities.
