Drew and Gabby have been great friends for years, a solid foundation for a relationship. They both went to Hope College in Holland, MI where he studied special education and she studied psychology. During Drew's senior year, Gabby was always at his house hanging out with him and his friends. Whether they were playing MarioKart, Euchre, or yard games, they were always having fun. After Drew graduated, the two took a hiatus from one another and didn't talk for a whole year as Gabby was enjoying her senior year and Drew was working. Finally, Drew broke the silence and reached out to Gabby. To his dismay, she was about to pack her bags and move to Wisconsin. Another couple months went by and the two reconnected, this time permanently. Both Drew and Gabby knew immediately that they had something special. Something that would last. After about seven months of long distance, Gabby moved back to West Michigan. They spent the summer fishing, traveling to Europe, just hanging out, and getting engaged! God's timing is surprising and perfect.
