The Publick House Historic Inn, 277 Main Street, Sturbridge, MA, 01566. Make sure that you have entered the correct Publick House location, as there are two. You want the one in Sturbridge.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30. Please do your best to arrive by 5:00, so that you can find your way to the ceremony location.
The ceremony will be outdoors in the "meadow," location off the parking lot of the Publick House. If you are facing the back of the inn, the pathway that leads to the meadow will be on your right, about halfway down the parking lot.
The reception and cocktail hour will be held under the outdoor tent.
For the most part, our wedding will be an adults only celebration. When you RSVP on our website, you'll see the names of everyone invited in your party. Only those listed may attend.
We have a wedding registry which contains two cash funds. You can find it by clicking the tab that says "Registry" on the home page, or the three little lines on the top right, if you are visiting our website on your phone. We do not have a traditional registry for household items because we currently live in a very small space. While gifts of any kind are not required to celebrate with us, if you would like to give us a gift, we kindly ask that it be in the form of cash, check, or a contribution to one of the aforementioned cash funds.
Yes, there is a room reservation block at the Publick House. To access the block, go to the Publick House website, and input the code 0626CA to see rooms in our block. You can also reserve a room outside of the block, or reserve a room at one of the other hotels in the area.
5pm: Arrival at the Publick House and walk to the Meadow for the ceremony 5:30-6pm: Ceremony in the meadow 6-7pm: Cocktail hour 7pm: Reception begins & first dance under the tent 7:30pm: Dinner is served 8:30-10pm: Dancing 10-11:30: Karaoke
Yes! In addition to the traditional dinner and dancing at the reception, we will also have karaoke towards the end of the evening. Come prepared with a song to sing, if you'd like!
