We love the children and we wish we could host everyone, however, we have a strict maximum capacity. If your children or plus-one were not invited, we will not be able to accommodate them.
Our ceremony is intended to be outdoors in the presence of a variety of plants. If you are prone to seasonal allergies, we suggest taking your preferred antihistamine before you arrive, so you can enjoy the outdoors with us!
We've curated a menu that we love. While we are unable to accommodate individual dietary restrictions or requests, the selection has a variety that we hope everyone will enjoy. Please take a look at the meal option to plan accordingly if you have an allergy or preference that would require you to eat before you arrive.
Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. All walkways are paved, so don't fret about sinking heels into the lawn, or getting muddy after rain. Also, the building has heating and cooling but we plan to spend some time outside. The weather may be hot or cool, so please plan accordingly. Finally, we kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing perfumes, colognes, and strongly scented lotions, as these attract insects. Thank you for helping us keep our day enjoyable!
The Barn at Bull Meadow offers complimentary on-site parking just steps away from the ceremony. Once you arrive, you can settle in and enjoy the entire evening at one, convenient location. In case of rain, we will provide umbrellas to keep you dry during your walk from the car to the building, as the ceremony will be held inside. For those of you who would like to be dropped off, there is a convenient turnaround for drop offs at both the outdoor ceremony area and the front door of the building.
We have plenty of seating and you are welcome to sit for the majority of the event. There is very little walking via a paved sidewalk from the outdoor ceremony to the reception area. If needed, you can be driven from the ceremony to the reception. This venue is ADA compliant. The entire guest area of The Barn at Bull Meadow is free from stairs, is completely level, and has spacious bathrooms! Restrooms, seating and food are all centralized in the reception area for easy access.
Yes, there is a guest suite with a sofa in the back of the reception area. You can use this space to take a break from the noise, if needed.
