What is the dress code?

Answer

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors on the lawns of Blithewold Mansion. Please dress in elevated summer formal attire. Ladies: Midi or maxi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or elegant separates. Grass-friendly shoes (block heels, wedges, or flats) recommended. Gentlemen: Lightweight suits or summer blazers with dress pants. Expect warm August weather—light fabrics encouraged! Sunglasses are recommended for the ceremony, as guests will be seated facing the sun.

Are kids welcome?

We love your little ones, but we’re keeping the celebration adults-only. We hope you enjoy a night off to relax and celebrate with us!

Is transportation provided on the wedding day?

Answer

Yes! Two buses will provide transportation between the Renaissance Providence Downtown Hotel and Blithewold. To the wedding: Buses depart the Renaissance at 3:45 PM sharp - please arrive a few minutes early, as they will leave promptly. After the wedding: Buses leave Blithewold at 10:30 PM, stopping first at Kimi’s Bar in Providence for the after party. Guests not attending the after party should remain on board to be dropped off at the Renaissance Hotel. From the after party: No transportation will be provided back to the hotel - please plan to use Uber or Lyft, as walking is not recommended. On-site parking is available at Blithewold for those driving - please arrive no earlier than 4:30 PM.
