Sarah and Wyatt met in 2022 when Sarah began working in the Assembly. While both Sarah and Wyatt had worked in the legislature starting in 2017 and 2020 respectively, the separation of houses during Covid was a huge gap to jump. But Sarah made the leap to the green carpet, and through a mutual bestie they were introduced. Wyatt charmed Sarah with a story about FBI surveillance and a new friendship was formed. By October they were headed to a three week long campaign deployment in San Diego, ready to suffer through the season, but together. A strong friendship was made through the next couple of months they danced around feelings/not feelings, until one fateful night near Christmas. Feelings were shared, kisses were had, and then Sarah and Wyatt walked in lockstep together. Friendship became a different love and a deeper commitment that they are excited to share with their friends and family at this beautiful party.

Sarah and Wyatt met in 2022 when a mutual friend happened to introduce them after they had both spent several years without crossing paths in what is a very small capitol community for Republicans. One of the first things Wyatt noticed about Sarah was the endearing yet dignified way she carried herself; he remembers remarking to a colleague that he wished he had met this beautiful young woman in the pink dress with the snake tattoo on her arm much earlier. As it happens, every even year an election happens and so in October 2022 Wyatt and Sarah were headed to a three week campaign deployment in San Diego, ready to suffer through the season. Between being first introduced during the summer months they had only crossed paths a few times but had already developed a shared sense of humor and friendship which was strengthened over the grueling days on the campaign trail. When they returned, Wyatt knew Sarah was something special. Over the next couple of months they had a few “date, not dates” and long happy-hours which happened to be just the two of them, and a shared love of the snow in Tahoe. Sarah’s friends were sure Wyatt would never make a move. Until one fateful night near Christmas, feelings were shared, kisses were had, and they recognized that the friendship they had developed was meant to be a different love and a deeper commitment. Some of their friends have been along for the entire journey and they are excited to share with their friends and family at this beautiful party.
