They first met at Arise Christian Ministry Iligan around 2014. He was in his third year of college, and she had just started her first year. That year, during her first Christmas party at their Iligan Ministry church, he gave her a stuffed teddy bear as an exchange gift. At the time, it seemed like a simple gesture—nothing more.
