Our Story
It was the summer of '16.
Two young 20-somethings decided to do what any millennial looking for love in the big city would do - join an infamous dating app. Swipe after swipe, each continued their search, despite endless unsuccessful dates.
One day, Emelia would come across Tyler - a sports-loving theater nerd who also happened to swipe right. The two would meet just a few days later at a thrift store before beginning what would become the rest of their lives together.
The two spent the entire summer together enjoying everything Chicago had to offer. In October, Tyler would finally muster the nerve to ask Emelia to become his girlfriend. They would later choose to continue their journey together in Colorado, a state they fell in love with just a few months later.
In October of 2023 - on the couple's (lucky) seventh anniversary - Tyler solidified his commitment to Emelia by asking her to marry him. To which she, of course, said yes.
The rest - as they say - is history.
