What airport should I fly into?

Answer

We recommend flying into Leonardo da Vinci Airport (Rome FCO). This airport is the closest airport and is about 2.25 hours away from Villa Baroncino.

Is transportation provided during my stay?

Answer

Arriving: - For those of you arriving at FCO Airport on Saturday July 16th, 2022, we have asked that you please arrive prior to 1:00 PM. The bus will be picking up between 1-1:30pm to take us all to Villa Baroncino. - Check-in will be at 4:00 PM on July 16th. - Villa Baroncino is about 2.25 hours from FCO airport. Departing: - Check-out will be at 10:00 AM on July 23rd. - We will contact you directly regarding your departure time (transportation provided at specific times). Yes! Food and drinks will be available daily. We have coordinated for several catered meals throughout the week during your stay. We also have coordinated for grocery delivery as well which will be left in the common kitchen, available for self serve at your convenience.

We will be sharing a formal schedule with you all including these details. What should I wear during my stay at Villa Baroncino?

Answer

As a reminder, we will have exclusive access to the entire estate during our time at Villa Baroncino meaning, only our close family & friends who are attending the wedding will be present (outside of the times where we have catered events & of course, the day of the wedding). Throughout the week, feel free to dress comfortably and casual. Think sundresses, swimwear, linen, sandals, tees, really anything goes! The wedding day attire will be Semi-formal including light suits, cocktail dresses, button downs, floral prints. The weather will be very hot (90-100 F) and both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors, we recommend keeping this in mind as you make your decision on what to wear.

will there be staff on site throughout the week?

Answer

Very Important - Staff will be present at check in, during catered events, on the full wedding day and to check us out. To re-emphasize while there will be some catered events, your stay at the villa is a self service experience. You can choose to use the pool, cook, drink, use the common space at your own leisure. We kindly ask to please be mindful of maintaining your space, the common space which we will all share, the usage of electronic devices, turning off the lights & AC upon exiting your villa and noise levels at night.

are there covid requirements upon entry into italy?

Answer

As of 6/23/22: Starting from June 1, 2022, travelers to Italy will no longer be required to show the Green pass (i.e. Anti-COVID 19 vaccination certificate or recovery certificate, or a negative swab test) to enter Italy and are not subject to quarantine upon arrival to Italy if they do not possess the Green pass. Most places will take credit card however, we highly recommend exchanging cash for your own convenience. The Italian currency is in euros.

Yes - but stay off your phone & enjoy the villa!! Just kidding, we understand the need to check in with family and work. There is wifi available in the common areas. We also recommend contacting your own cell service providers ahead of your travel.

will we have air conditioning in our suites?

Answer

Heating & Air Conditioning will be available however they are charged locally, meaning we have to pay based on utilization and consumption. Please be mindful of turning off your air conditioner upon leaving your villa suite. No cost are applied for Water, Electricity and Gas.
