Best Matron of Honor
Nicole and Jung met in 7th grade English class when they were selected to read the Diary of Anne Frank out loud to the class. You've heard of six degrees of separation? Nicole could probably get that number down to three. She has a keen sense to make connections and connect people. Nicole's husband, Jay, rightfully refers to her as Nikkipedia as she is often a source for random factoids. Looking for a podcast recommendation? Nicole is the go to person. Jung thinks everyone should have a Nicole in their life— a bona fide friend who provides support, encouragement, confidence, loyalty, and laughter all at the right times. Jung loves that Nicole and her can communicate just by tagging each other in memes. Jung hates that Nicole would not help her move a dead body (if the need ever arose).
Best Man
Matt is Tom's younger brother. One of Tom's favorite memories is when he needed help promoting the wonders of a magical cream in a commercial for Spanish class. Without hesitation, Matt was willing to assist. Matt and a gallon jar of mayonnaise demonstrated that "crema mágica" worked great in a variety of ways- on sandwiches, sunscreen, or as hair conditioner. What more could you ask of your brother than that?

In the 2nd grade, Cara would call Jung "Junn" due to a lisp and Jung did not take kindly to that. Many years later when they reached high school, through a mutual love for cheesy breadsticks and engaging lunch time talks, they found the right ingredients for a lifelong friendship. They would spend hours on the phone, but Cara would talk so much (I wonder where she got that from... Dave?) that Jung would put the phone down and just respond "mmhm" or "yeah" every so often. Jung loves Cara's kind heart, pregnant belly, musical tendencies, and organizational skills. Jung doesn’t hate anything about Cara because she’s pregnant right now (you can't hate on pregnant people!) and is especially excited to meet Baby Apricot! ❤️

Dan and Tom met during sophomore year when they both played for the high school's baseball team. Tom's first memory of Dan was a giant black eye when he took a baseball to the face. Dan, Mike, Jay, and Tom got picked up by Ludlow police when they were thought to be suspects in a robbery at Randall's Farm. They were actually walking back to Dan's house during a late night McDonald's run, however, ended up getting a free ride.

Being the few POC at Ludlow High School, Kaitlyn and Jung secretly wanted to be friends with each other. Their groups of friends were similar, but a year apart. They had a tendency to be in AP/Honors classes and shared activities, like Student Council. Their friendship flourished through common interests: camping, poker, Alex's bean dip, and Mrs. Kelley. Jung looks up to Kaitlyn like the older sister she never had. It may have something to do with the fact that they're both Asian. Anand, Kaitlyn's husband, thinks Jung and Kaitlyn are mean to one another. Kaitlyn had two weddings- one in India and another in the U.S. It's a good thing because Tom got sick at one, while Jung got sick at the other. Jung loves Kaitlyn's snark and candor, and hates that she takes days to respond to a text.
Groomsman
David is Tom's future brother-in-law and one of Jung's closest confidantes/best friends. (Jung asked him to be a man of honor, but he declined due to his surprisingly conventional values about bridal parties/groomsmen.) David visits Jung and Tom on Sundays to watch football and root for the Patriots. Other times, he can be seen losing his money playing In-Between against the other groomsmen. David was once duped in Mexico City by a guy named Frederico who tried to put chapstick on David's shoes to "waterproof" them. Jung and Tom now use frederico’ed as a synonym for being scammed. After visiting Peru with Jung and Tom, David developed a love-hate relationship for hiking. David gets full credit for turning Jung and Tom into dog people when he brought Billy into their lives in 2007.

Jung sang her way into Leeann's heart (and lap) at a mutual friend's 13th birthday party by serenading her to K-Ci and Jojo's "All My Life." No, really. This was their first interaction with one another. Jung got to experience her first cruise and international trip (to somewhere other than Korea) with Leeann and her parents, Leonor and Horacio-master. You could say the Salvador family helped form the beginning stages of Jung's wanderlust. Jung loves that Leeann shares the same passion for dogs, sweatpants, traveling, and Harry Potter. Jung hates Leeann's tendency to leave things early because she gets tired or "needs to let the dogs out." Rest assured, Leeann will not be leaving before midnight on 12/31/2017.
Groomsman
Tom first met Jay in Kindergarten at St. John's. At recess, Tom observed Jay walking around collecting cigarette butts. When Tom asked what he was doing, Jay explained he was collecting them for his father. Jay has a knack for destroying things and once accidentally ran through Tom's screen door. Jay also used to be notorious for doing outrageous things for trivial amounts of money.

Tovah and Jung met at college orientation during the summer leading up to their freshman year at UMass. Tovah taught Jung a bit of Hebrew, like the fact that Tovah means good. In December of '05, Tovah came over to Jung's dorm room to decorate her first Christmas tree along with Jung's Jewish roommate. They have weathered obstacles like being eaten alive when 30% DEET failed to work on the mosquitoes in Costa Rica. Tovah loves the beach while Jung is impartial to it (she's coming around though- as long as a beach tent is available). Jung loves Tovah's honesty and empathy. Jung hates Tovah's FiveFingers shoes.
Groomsman
Mike and Tom first met in 8th grade Spanish class with Miss Connors. Mike accidentally stabbed Tom with a pencil in his pinkie finger. The lead still remains in Tom's finger to this day. Throughout high school, Tom joined Mike and other members of the '1337' crew at the Eastfield Mall on Friday nights watching terrible movies, eating McDoubles, and gaming at the Dream Machine and X-Zone (RIP).

Annan joined the family in February 2017 when she married Tom's younger brother, Mathew. Lucky for Jung and Tom that Matt picked an amazing life partner as they both have a great fondness for their (future) sister-in-law. Annan has a beautiful spirit, acting as a source of continuous support and offering sage advice when needed. Though she dislikes Halloween, Annan dressed up just for Jung & Tom's Jack and Jill.

Jorge joined the family in April 2017 when he married Tom's younger sister, Koryna. Jorge's goofy personality and infectious laughter keeps those around him smiling. Jung and Tom are grateful that Koryna picked a fantastic companion as they both enjoy spending time with their brother-in-law, mostly when Jung and Jorge are outeating those around them. Jung and Jorge agree that part of the motivation for marrying into the family is for their (future) father-in-law’s excellent culinary skills.

Nolan, AKA Mr. Noles, is Tom's younger brother. Tom used to watch Nolan when he was an infant and had to constantly hide his Burt's Bees chapstick, as Nolan would have a tendency to eat it. Nolan would exclaim, "Chappy peez!" Tom introduced Nolan to video games around his adolescence, which may explain his passion for them today.
