FAQs

The Wedding Website of Tory Maynard and June Jacobs
Question

What is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please let us know by March 15th if you are able to attend.

Question

What is the vibe?

Answer

The party is in an old farmhouse, so we don't expect you to bust out your ballgown but we do expect you to try to upstage the brides. Pay attention to the weather beforehand. If it's been raining, the ground will be soft and could be a little muddy.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The party venue is an old farmhouse. While dinner and drinks will be served inside, we will have fire pits on the lawn and a dance floor in the heated garage. Wear layers if you want to enjoy the outdoor festivities, and shoes you don't mind getting dirty. Spring in the Hudson Valley is unpredictable. We recommend checking the weather a week or so beforehand. If it's been raining the ground will be soft and a little muddy.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Weather in the Hudson Valley can be unpredictable, especially in the spring. Check the forecast ahead of the weekend and be prepared for rain or sunny skies.

Question

How do I get to and from the reception venue?

Answer

Quinnie's is a 10 minute drive from downtown Hudson. There is no shuttle. The venue has plenty of parking if you choose to drive; or you can take a quick uber/taxi from your hotel.

Question

I have a dietary restriction!

Answer

We will have vegetarian, gluten free, and nut-free options for dinner on Saturday. If you have additional restrictions please note it in your RSVP.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Your presence is the only gift we want. No gifts please.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

While we wish we could celebrate with everyone, the venue has limited capacity. Please refer to your invitation for guest count.

Question

Can I bring my child(ren)?

Answer

While we love your little ones, due to venue restrictions, the weekend is strictly 16+.

Question

Can I bring my dog/cat child(ren)?

Answer

While we love your furry little ones, due to venue restrictions, the weekend is strictly human. Francis is devastated.
