They met on the USS John Paul Jones while stationed in Pearl Harbor, HI. June was the First Lieutenant & Jaxon was the Navigator.

After months of going in and out to sea, they lost track of time and were unsure when they even started dating….so they declared June 1st the start of their relationship!

After their deployment on the JPJ and after months of a COVID deployment being #InHarmsWay, they were finally able to spend months together in Hawaii! Poke, açaí bowls, the list goes on….!

Their time in paradise came to an end and thus began their long distance journey….countless FaceTime calls, weekend visits to each other, endless Instagram reels back and forth…

Big milestones were hit during the 2022 holiday season. June met Jaxon’s family at the Jemez mountains for Thanksgiving. Jaxon met June’s family in San Diego for Christmas.

After his years long stint in Europe, Jaxon was finally back in the US for Navy department head school. They took leave and decided to meet up in Nashville, Tennessee. Unbeknownst to June, Jaxon flew his good friend Matt out to Nashville to take *engagement photos*! The surprise was well executed - June had no idea!!!

We can’t wait to celebrate with you in Arizona! After our wedding, we will finally end our long distance streak and will settle down for the next few years in sunny San Diego!
