If you are unable to attend, we would appreciate you letting us know at the soonest opportunity. Any RSVPs received after this date will be marked as a 'no' as we will be sending final headcounts to vendors shortly after this deadline
Yes, dress code is cocktail/formal attire. (A cocktail dress, floor length dress, formal jumpsuit, a dark suit, a tux. Something nice but comfortable to dance in). Please keep in mind the cocktail hour will take place outdoors in case you'd like to bring a jacket. We will have heaters in case it is cold but October has been all over the place when it comes to temperature.
The bridal party is wearing pinks and purple berries. The groomsmen are wearing dark green.
As much as we love the kiddos, we respectfully request no children unless your child is part of our immediate family and listed on your invitation.
Due to limited venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless it is specifically indicated on your envelope. For example, your envelope would list "(your name) & Guest". For families, it will list "(your name) & (your family's individual names)". When you go to RSVP, you will be able to see the exact number of people you can RSVP for.
Yes, we will have shuttles running from the Courtyard Marriott Frederick and TownePlace Suites by Marriott Frederick to the venue before the ceremony and after the reception.
Union Mills Public House is in downtown Frederick so there will be limited street parking. There are numerous lots and garages in the area surrounding the venue on S. Carroll Street, East Street, Water Street, and S. Wisner Street.
We are asking our guests to silence all electronics during our ceremony, but encourage you to take photos once the reception begins and share all the amazing memories! We will have signs at the venue with our Guestpix account QR code so you can share all of your photos and videos! The ceremony will be open seating so sit wherever you please. For the reception, we will be carefully arranging tables so our guests are sat with those they know (or their plus one or partner).
The ceremony will be starting promptly at 5pm, we recommend guests arrive between 4:30-4:45 so there is time to mingle and find a seat. If you happen to be late, our coordinator will let you know if they are still allowing guests in or if you will need to wait until the ceremony is over. If that happens, you will still be able to attend the reception so hang tight and we will see you at the reception.
