Go back to 2016...I had decided to attend a summer camp because my cousin and friend were going. Jeremy had decided to go because it was free for him. Little did we both know we would meet the person we would marry. We weren't even friends at camp, more like acquaintances. However, he did play a good game of volleyball. When camp was over everybody exchanged information to stay in touch, and Jeremy and I got each other's social media. We became best friends over the next year. Texting each other every day and 5 hour long phone calls led us to becoming close to each other long distance until finally he got his own car and began driving down to Philadelphia. From there, we had what we consider now our first date and our relationship only grew from there. Three and a half years later, we are engaged and love each other more than ever. Cheers to forever!
Jeremy took me back to our first date: Lorimer Park. It was the first snow of 2020. After a long year of quarantine and political debates he brought it back to a simpler time. A date in the park before a night at the movies. Except this time when we went the snow almost a foot off of the ground. And yet, he still got one one knee and asked me to be his wife. I could not ask for anything more. Then we went to the Poconos for a bit of celebrating and snowboarding!
