Running gear or casual
As you all know, Missy and Tim are avid runners. There will be plenty of runners at the wedding but a fun-run is for everyone! - even your dogs are invite to run/walk. We'll be holding the 5 km (3.1 mi) race along the dirt road (map = https://www.strava.com/activities/2407767600). Start time is 10am. Make sure to eat breakfast beforehand. For those racing, the course is pretty tough - an out and back with lots of hills both ways. It's a packed dirt road for most of the trip with a little pavement in the middle. The roads won't be closed to traffic, so please be careful! And there will be plenty of signage to help drivers keep us all safe. Please note the name of the race and have fun! The race ends at a beautiful clear lake - jump in and cool off. Light refreshments and coffee will be served during and after the race for those who are cheering and running alike. We'll move onto the 'Field Day' back in Belfast at 1pm. Please bring a towel, sunscreen, running/walking shoes.

The goal of the Pre-Wedding Field Day is to truly blend our families together. With loved ones in Indiana, New York, California, Florida, Maine and everywhere in between, it's important to us to bring people together to bond and build relationships. The tentative event lineup is: We'll have a Corn hole Tournament and other lawn games, music, barbecue, and drinks. Come and go as you please as we'll only be 5 minute walk from downtown.
3:15 pm - 4:45 pm
Garden Attire: Wear sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues. Be comfortable! High heels are discouraged due to the grassy lawn where the cocktail hour will take place.
Cocktail hour will start at 3:15 pm and end at 4:45. Hors D'oeuvres will be served on a lawn with an incredible view of the harbor. Live music and open bar provided. A kids section will be outside complete with games and a bouncy house. Before the vow renewal starts at 5pm, there will be 15 minutes of special acoustic music outside on the lawn as we all gather to celebrate the vow renewal.
4:45 pm - 5:30 pm
Garden Attire: Wear sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, and fun hats and fascinators.
The vow renewal will be outside on the lawn with the beautiful Belfast Harbor as a backdrop - with option to be inside if raining. The ceremony will be said by Uncle Ted, who married us one year earlier. There will be a very special live acoustic prelude from 4:45-5 and the vow renewal ceremony will start at 5pm. It will be about 20 minutes or so and dancing will start immediately afterwards! This is a party!
5:30 pm - 10:00 pm
The reception will start immediately after the vow renewal. The reception starts at 5:30pm and there will be a live band and a lot of dancing. Open bar provided. For dinner we'll be having a lobster bake with fresh lobsters caught same day on the morning of the wedding! (there will be chicken and vegetarian options as well as pizza for the kids). This party ends at 10pm, but we'll be going to Rollie's on Main Street for the afterparty - anyone over 21 invited.

Rollie's is a 5-10 minute walk from the reception at Belfast Boat House. You should be well fed with lobster and blueberry cobbler, but they'll keep the grill open for us if you're still hungry. The back porch room will be ours to have some fun in. This place has a lot of stories and will be fun to end the party there.
