We met our freshman year at Colby College up in Waterville, Maine when a bunch of our friends went sledding on Chapel Hill after the first snow that winter. My first thought was that Zack was cute, but then I didn't think anything else of it at the time. Zack found an earring I lost that night and thought his discovery and return of my earring might be the key to my heart- he calls it a real Cinderella story. Nothing happened just yet, though. We remained in the same group of friends throughout school when, during our senior year, a couple of our mutual friends told me that Zack had a "crush" on me (it was all very mature). We started dating soon after. Fast forward to our fifth anniversary when Zack surprised me with a proposal as we were getting ready for dinner in his Beacon Hill apartment. It was definitely the best present I could've hoped for or imagined. Now we are super excited to get to celebrate with all of our favorite people in Newport next summer! We hope to see you all there!
