We met in 5th grade when Colton moved back to Palacios. We didn't become friends till 7th grade. He had a crush on me for a long time until 9th grade when he let go of his feelings for me. We would see each other around school and sometimes talk but that was it. I reached out to him in 10th grade and began taking regularly and started spending more time together. Eventually he asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes. We have been together ever since.

My brothers asked Colton and I to hang out at the bowling alley the night before the proposal. I didn't suspect a thing since this was a normal occurrence between us. We played for about an hour and I was the last one to play before the game was over. As I finished I turned back around and saw Colton down on one knee. He had to ask me twice before I said yes because I could not believe it. It's the most surprised I've been in my life and happiest. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!
