You can get a good deal on an apartment with Airbnb. We recommend staying in the City Center, so you can walk to Neptune and not rely on cabs.

This is the closest airport to the venue, with flights from many major European cities. It's a 20-30min cab ride to Burgas City Center and Neptune.

Varna Airport (VAR)

Varna is a city on the Bulgarian Seaside 2 hours away from Burgas. Please let us know if you plan on flying into that airport and we can arrange a driver pick up. It will cost less than $200 for a 4 person car.

Istanbul Airport (IST)

Istanbul is approximately 4h drive away but has the most international (non-European) connections. A private car for up to four people would cost $250. Let us know if you are considering this and we can coordinate transport with others who may be flying in to Istanbul.

Sofia Airport (SOF)

Sofia is the capital of Bulgaria and a 4 hour drive away from Burgas. Let us know if you plan to fly into that airport and we can help you arrange a car for $250 for an up to 4 person car. You can also take a bus or a train, but these options take longer.

Travel Note

Cab Information

There is no Uber or Lyft in Burgas. The cab from the Burgas Airport to the Burgas City Center (where Neptune is) should take less than 30mins and should cost less than $40. There are plenty of cabs waiting at the airport. To ensure you don't get a "foreigner rate" ask how much it will cost to get to your destination before you get in the cab. Please plan to pay by cash as some cabs do not accept credit cards.
