SJD (Los Cabos International Airport) is the primary airport serving Cabo San Lucas. It’s located about 29 miles (approximately 40 minutes) north of Cabo San Lucas. For transportation from the airport to Cabo San Lucas, you have a few options: taxi, Uber, or private transfer. Ubers from SJD to Cabo San Lucas typically cost around $50. We recommend using your best judgment and booking in advance when possible to ensure a smooth arrival. We also suggest arriving on Thursday, June 4 to allow time to check-in, settle and join the welcome festivities.
Travel Note
Taxis are widely available throughout Los Cabos, but fares can be on the higher side. A one-way taxi from the airport to Cabo San Lucas may cost you $60+. Uber is available in Cabo San Lucas and tends to be more affordable for local trips. Car rentals are also an option if you prefer to drive (check with your hotel for parking options). We recommend pre-arranging your airport transfers and using Uber to get around locally during your stay. Recommended private transportation companies: ImpalaCabo, TransCabo, Cabo Lindo, All Ways Cabo
