Our Story
We’re not ashamed to say it — our story started on Bumble in June of 2021. After texting for a few weeks, we planned our first date at Blackstone Pizza in Gadsden (the best pizza, if you ask me!). It felt like the perfect, relaxed place to meet and really get to know each other.
From the moment we sat down, the conversation came easily. We ate, talked, and laughed for hours, and I remember sitting there thinking that he was someone truly special. After dinner, we drove around and kept talking, realizing how much we shared — a love for the outdoors, time on the lake, the same taste in music, and a meaningful connection to Gadsden woven into our family histories long before we ever met.
Since that night, life has brought both joy and hardship, and we truly wouldn’t have made it through the difficult seasons without each other. What began as a simple first date became a love built on friendship, resilience, and choosing each other every day.
