WHEN SHOULD I BUY PLANE TICKETS?

Buy them as soon as you can, as prices do go up closer to the date. If you are traveling from another country for our wedding, you must fly into La Aurora International Airport Guatemala City.

Will the ceremony and reception be in the same place?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony and reception will take place in Villa Bokéh. Transportation will be available from your hotel to Villa Bokéh. More information soon.

Money Exchange?

· We recommend to exchange your dollars in Banks in Antigua Guatemala or in the Currency-exchange office at the airport. · ATMs are available in most of the hotels or all over Antigua Guatemala. · Credit cards are accepted in hotels and restaurants. · The Currency may vary by the time of your visit but approximately is: Quetzal (Q) Q7.85 = US$1 Some places accept dollars cash but you may get a better deal by paying in quetzals.

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE IN DECEMBER?

Guatemala is called the land of the eternal spring, meaning there's good weather most of the year. December is a is a great month to visit Guatemala, the climate is comfortable and the temperature normally varies between 12°C to 23°C (53°F to 73°F). Expect bright blue skies. Evenings do get a little chilly, make sure you bring a comfy sweater or a jacket.
