The largest volcanic Island sits in Lake Nicaragua. Arrive here by ferry and spend the day hiking one of the two volcanoes, visiting the natural springs at El Ojo De Agua, hiking to a beaituful waterfall, kayaking, bike riding, or enjoying the sunset at Punta Jesus Maria.

Masaya Volcano

Masaya Volcano National Park is the first and largest national park in Nicaragua. We suggest visiting just before sunset to enjoy the views and see the lava flowing in the active crater known as "the mouth of hell".

Aventura Las Nubes - Canopy Tour / Zipline Park

Located at the highest peak of San Juan del Sur, come here for amazing views and awesome adventure. They have offroad vehicles, walking trails, tarzan swings, rappeling, and a canopy tour with ziplines and suspensions bridges. You might also spot some wildlife in this tropical forest.

Granada

This city is one of our must-see's. This colonial town is rich in history and culture. We recommend taking a horse carriage tour from the main plaza, taking a tour of the isletas, and enjoying the relaxed nightlife on La Calle Calzada.

Mirador de Catarina

Mirador de Catarina is the best place to capture amazing views of Laguna de Apoyo or Apoyo Lagoon. Enjoy a walk along the paths, grab a bite to eat, listen to the local marimba musician, or do some shopping for souvenirs from local artisans. From this view point take a drive down to enjoy the lagoon.

Laguna de Apoyo

This lagoon, formed by a natural crater of a sleeping volcano, is one of the largest in Nicaragua and the most beautiful. There are a few hotels along the lagoon's beach that offer day passes for you to enjoy a beach day in these calm waters.

León

Leon is colonial city in Nicaragua known for its beautiful art, delicious food, colorful streets, nightlife, and many awe-inspiring churches. In fact, Leon is home to the largest cathedral in Central America, Leon Cathedral. You can climb to the cathedral's for a spectacular view of the city and the volcanoes.

San Juan del Sur

This little surfer beach town sits along the edge of the pacific in south Nicaragua. You can spend your days relaxing on the many beautiful beaches in the area, hike to the Christ statue for amazing views, spend the day at Tree Casa Resort, and enjoy the sunset while dining along the San Juan del Sur Beach. This city also has some relaxed nightlife but is most famous for their Sunday Funday bar crawl.

Rancho Santana has numerous activities on site. The ranch offers yoga, surf lessons, horseback riding, spa services, stand-up paddleboarding, fishing, and golf at a course nearby.
