Derek and I actually met in 2020 during covid times. We met at a softball game. I went to hangout with his sister, her fiancé played on the same team as Derek, and she introduced us. He jokingly made a comment about my glasses, and we went our separate ways. A few months later, January of 2021, we shared a few messages on social media, and decided to meet at a bar for a drink. Little did we know, that bar would come to mean so much to us. One drink turned into hours of talking, laughing and some flirting. All it took was that one night, and we were hanging out everyday after that. We officially started dating on my birthday, 05/30/2021. We moved into our first house together January 1st, 2022. We were already raising a dog together, then decided to add a second four legged friend to our family. Denali and Diesel have helped our relationship grow into what it is today. From trips, to concerts to sporting events, we've done it all. Our first BIG trip was to Daytona Beach in 2023. Then in 2024, we traveled to San Francisco. Many trips later, I took him to Las Vegas for his 30th Birthday, where we got engaged on February 28th, 2025! As all relationships do, we've had our highs and lows. No great relationship comes without its challenges. And those challenges have led us to this great life we have today. And now we are so excited to share this next amazing chapter of our lives with all of our friends and family!
