Muir Woods National Monument
See the California Redwoods in all their glory. This national park is conveniently located directly across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco, so you can cross two sight seeing items off of your list. I (Steve) have been to Muir Woods many times and have enjoyed the hikes, sights and nature every time. Contempla las secuoyas gigantes californianas en todo su esplendor. Alcatraz Island
Visit the famous Alcatraz Prison! Ferries leave from the famous San Francisco piers. If you decide to visit Alcatraz or anywhere downtown, we recommend parking at the Milbrae train station and taking either BART or CalTrain into the city so you don't need to worry about parking. ¡Visite la famosa prisión de Alcatraz! Downtown San Francisco
See the sights of the city! Experience Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39 and its legendary Sea Lions. Visit Lombard Street, known for its winding road and unique houses. Walk the Embarcadero, visit Golden Gate Park and the Bridge. Visit Ghirardelli Square. With plenty of shows to see, food to eat and places to visit, you'll never run out of things to do Downtown. We recommend parking at Milbrae train station and taking either the BART or CalTrain in to the city to avoid the hassle with parking and potential risks of car break-ins that happen from time-to-time downtown. ¡Conozca las atracciones de la ciudad! Pacific Coast Trail & Francis Beach
Steps from where the ceremony will be held, Francis Beach has plenty of parking, picnic areas and facilities to enjoy a day on the coast. We took our engagement pictures on Francis Beach, so trust us when we say it is worth a visit. Conveniently passing the beach is the Pacific Coast Trail, which runs all the way from Mavericks Beach down to the Ritz Carlton. Walk along a well maintained trail to experience the beauty of the California coast. We recommend visiting around sunset for a spectacular view.
