The only restaurant in town - pretty good for breakfast! Is right on Main Street.

This is Ekalaka's humble small-town grocery store, but has a pretty decent supply if you need anything. To get here, coming into town, keep straight at the Y.
Learn a little bit about some of the history in the region. The museum contains a variety of artifacts including gear from the old' days and Native American items, as well as a collection of dinosaur fossils and rocks.
If you enjoy visiting national parks and are coming from a long ways, you might want to consider a 2 hour trip to North Dakota during the week before or after the wedding to see Theodore Roosevelt National Park in the North Dakota Badlands.
The Badlands are another neat location about 2 and a half hours away from Ekalaka.

This museum has many fascinating displays about fossils and archaeology, with a Christian perspective! If you have time, we definitely recommend dropping by to visit! It is also an opportunity to learn more about the rich fossil deposits in Montana.
There are lots of neat things to see in the black hills, including Mount Rushmore, Bear Country, and the Crazy Horse memorial.
