Things To Do

Asheville is a city known for being surrounded by nature. We hope this weekend will be a great time for you to relax and energize yourself with all of the natural beauty and opportunities for excitement that provides

River Arts District

Asheville, NC

Asheville is home to a thriving artist economy, whether you want to learn how to blow glass or get a new hand made painting for your home it is absolutely worthwhile to at least walk through the artists studios and see what they can make

Biltmore

1 Lodge Street, Asheville, NC 28803

A lot of people think of the Biltmore as the house itself. While the house is cooler than you would expect to tour, there are so many more things happening on the grounds that make this 100% worth the money. From free wine tastings to farm animal petting zoos to hiking to botanical gardens, Biltmore honestly has more than enough to keep an entire family busy all day. We never expected to like it as much as we did, a few hours is enough to do the bare minimum but you can spend all day easily

Breweries

NC

There are many breweries in Asheville, so you'll have a lot to choose from! Among many local breweries, Sierra Nevada Brewing Company is located here.

Blue Ridge Parkway

Blue Ridge Parkway, Asheville, NC

If you have or are renting a car for the weekend, take a drive on the blue ridge parkway. The parkway rides along the top of the mountain range and you can see for miles in every direction. On top of that, the roads are exciting to drive with tons of twists and turns. If you want something fun to drive, Turo's a great option to find a car that lets you take full advantage of one of the best driving tracks in the US

Hiking / Outdoors

Asheville is surrounded by the Blue Ridge and Smokey Mountains. To say there is a lot of great scenery is an understatement. There are a ton of great options to get out and hike or just see some amazing scenery, one of our favorites that is pretty easy would be Craggy Gardens. Just a quick google search will find you tons of opportunities to be out in nature

Golf

290 Macon Ave, Asheville, NC 28804
, (800) 438-5800

There are quite a few great golf courses around, the Omni Grove Park Inn has a golf course right near downtown Asheville that feels like you're playing authentic mountain golf

LaZoom Tours

76 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801

LaZoom puts on fun, funny, and interesting tours of Asheville

Shoji Spa & Retreat

96 Avondale Heights Road, Asheville, NC 28803

We have never been here, but have always wanted to go. There's a good chance you might find one of us here throughout the wedding weekend

Sauna House

230 Short Coxe Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801

This is definitely not for everyone, but Julienne and I gave this place a try and it was a great experience. Between the saunas and the cold plunge you leave feeling refreshed and energized
