Kiana Lodge is located on the peninsula in Poulsbo, WA. Taxi service is limited on the peninsula, therefore we recommend that most drive onto the Seattle to Bainbridge ferry or the Edmonds to Kingston ferry - the ferries take about 30-35 minutes to get to both Bainbridge and Kingston (excluding wait times, be sure to account for wait times if you are traveling over the day of the wedding). Upon getting off of either ferry, there will be a 15 minute drive to the Clearwater Casino Resort where you can park in the free parking lot. Clearwater Casino Resort: 15347 Suquamish Way NE, Suquamish, WA 98392 Check in with the front desk and they will point you in the direction of the complimentary shuttles that will take regular 10 minute trips to and from the venue. Shuttles will be parked outside the main entrance starting at 4:00 PM to get guests down to the wedding at Kiana Lodge.
Although we love our little ones, this event is adults-only If you plan on bringing your family to Poulsbo for the weekend, please coordinate childcare during the planned events. This could include bringing a family member, nanny or coordinating care through a site like care.com
Cocktail attire: Summer fabrics - light suits, nice pants, collared shirts, sundresses, etc. Color is encouraged!
Yes, it is much easier (and free) to park at the Clearwater Casino, as Kiana Lodge has very limited parking that we are reserving for vendors and our elderly guests. Please park at Clearwater and check in at the front desk, they will let you know where the shuttles are that get you to Kiana Lodge and back.
If you're arriving to Poulsbo on the day of the wedding, you'll want allocate some time for ferry waits, the 30-35 minute sailing trip, drive 15 minutes to the Casino, and then take the additional (1 mile) shuttle to the venue. Please be aware of ferry wait times as you will have to line up well in advance to your preferred ferry, oftentimes at least 1 hour in advance. To check the wait times, refer here for Seattle to Bainbridge: https://www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries/vesselwatch/TerminalDetail.aspx?terminalid=7 And refer to here for Edmonds to Kingston: https://wsdot.com/ferries/vesselwatch/TerminalDetail.aspx?terminalid=12
