Welcome Party (Optional)

6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Casual cocktail attire; keep in mind it could get chilly!

Light bites + wine provided! This is where you can briefly mingle with the bride and groom's families and meet other guests in attendance before the big day. This event is optional as we understand guests may have varying arrival times. ***Uber/Lyft is highly preferred for this event as parking is limited. If you are driving, please be mindful that this will be residential street parking so you might have a short walk. *** No smoking of any kind on this property.

Wedding

4:00 pm - 10:00 pm

This event is a moody, dark, black-tie optional affair. Think: elevated, classy Halloween ball. Dark formal attire required (floor-length family-friendly dresses, suits, ties, etc.). All black encouraged. Check out the FAQ for a Pinterest board of outfit inspiration.

**We love your children, but they've gotta stay home unless explicitly invited.** **PARKING & ENTERING: Park in the windmill lot and enter via the cocktail hour courtyard (on the lefthand side). Guests are able to leave their cars overnight in the lot. **Cocktail Hour will begin after the ceremony. You will then be directed to go upstairs to the reception hall. The food hall is separate from the Windmill venue, so please refrain from entering/exiting throughout the evening. **Depending on how hard we party, the couple may head out for an afterparty at SameSame bar located on the upper level of Carlsbad Village! Even if we don't make it, you should check it out.
