Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Although we love children, we regretfully cannot accommodate them at the venue due to restricted numbers. We have trusted local babysitters that you can meet at the welcome dinner to watch children in the gym, then also provide child care on Saturday during the ceremony and reception. If you are in need of child care on Saturday, please reach out and let us know ASAP!

Question

Who is invited to the Welcome Dinner?

Answer

Everyone! If you are in town on Friday, please join us at the welcome dinner on Friday, September 22nd at 6:00pm! Dawn and Gregory Rush are generously hosting everyone for a light dinner and drinks at Grace Luthern Church (outside pending weather). If you need child care for the weekend, we will have babysitters that are able to watch kiddos in the gymnasium.

Question

What can I do after the ceremony?

Answer

Guests will have about an hour after the ceremony before happy hour begins. Check out the "things to do" tab on our site to get some ideas. There are many food and drinks spots within walking distance from the venue to occupy your time!

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

Above you will find a map of free parking lots near the venue. Please plan accordingly as some of these lots fill up quickly whenever there is nice weather! There are only a few Uber drivers in St. Joseph. We are still working on securing a shuttle from the hotel Tru in Stevensville.

Question

Where should I fly in to?

Answer

I know that many of you are traveling in from out of town. Here are the closest airports near our wedding weekend events! St. Joseph is about 2 hours from O'hare in Chicago. South Bend is a 40 minute drive from the venue.

Question

What do I do if I have a food restriction?

Answer

Dinner will be served buffet style. We are aware of many of you with alleriges and food restrictions. There will be separate plates made up for guests with food restrictions that they can get when they walk up to the buffet line. Please let us know if you have a food restriction!
