The future Mrs. & Mr. Herbel

We met on a dating site called Bumble. We were both skeptical about online dating at the time but it was the new thing and we thought, "Well why not?". Who knew that meeting a stranger would lead to such an epic love? We sure didn't but we are so glad we made the jump together!

When we met online, we talked for about a week and then we both decided to meet for a date! We both planned a picnic out by a small lake in Stillwater, Oklahoma called, Sanborn Lake. A secluded lake behind an airport where lots of people would go to for a jog around the lake or just to come stick a pole in for a quick fishing experience. We had really cheap cheese and crackers but the best part of our date was being able to be so open with each other about our lives. We talked for hours and it felt like it would never end. It was literally the perfect first date and just the start of a budding romance.
