Kneads Bakeshop & Café
- Breakfast - We love Kneads Bakery for indulgent lattes, coffee, & breakfast! Zack loves the classic bacon, egg & cheese, while Julie sticks to either the oatmeal or avocado toast. And you can't leave without indulging in one (or a few...) of their donuts.
Miss Shirley's Cafe
- Breakfast - A classic Baltimore breakfast spot. Beware, the monkey bread is deliciously addicting and the pancakes are as big as the plate! Visit the one near the Inner Harbor if you're staying down town or the one in Roland Park if you're up by the church. If you're heading out of town on an early flight, don't worry, their third location is inside BWI, past security in concourse A!
Pure Raw Juice - Federal Hill
- Breakfast - Julie has always had an obsession with smoothie bowls. This is the best in Baltimore if you're looking for something fresh over the weekend!
Choptank
- Diner - A great dinner and drinks spot in the heart of Fells Point. Grab the crab dip to start & an Orange Crush to sip on.
Tagliata
- Diner - A delicious option for dinner or happy hour drinks at the bar. Truth be told, the only time that Zack and Julie have eaten here was in 2021 when Julie was in town from Columbus. They visited Julie's sister, Patty, and her then boyfriend (now husband) Alex. Patty & Julie spent the night catching up about a potential engagement (for Patty!) over a glass of wine. An hour later they looked over to find their boyfriends talking about football while sipping espresso martinis.
Jupiter's Ice Cream
- Dessert - A staple ice cream spot in Baltimore, serving Taharka Bro's Ice Cream. Zack's favorite is the Honey Graham + Oreo Milkshake.
Federal Hill Park
- To Do - If you're looking for an awesome view of the Baltimore Harbor, walk around to the South side via the boardwalk, and climb Federal Hill. Julie brought Zack here on one of his first visits to the city.
Cross Street Market
- To Do - Grab a drink and some food while checking out Cross Street Market! In December of 2017, during Junior year winter break, Julie was here for a Ravens tailgate with some Baltimore friends wishing Zack was there to join in on the fun. Unknowingly to Julie, Zack had just flown in from New Orleans. He showed up at the bar moments later, surprising Julie and staying the weekend in Baltimore to ring in the New Year together!
Shopping!
- To Do - Would it be a weekend worth celebrating if you don't take a trip to a few favorite stores?! Right in Harbor East, you can visit Julie's favorites - the Abercrombie & Fitch is directly across from South Moon Under. Or if you're looking for something more practical, visit the stores that Zack usually heads to - the hometown Under Armor Brand House & the Lululemon.
Fort McHenry
- To Do - Check out Fort McHenry over on the tip of Locus Point. It is a great park to walk or run through. See where Francis Scott Key wrote our national anthem.
