It was a beautiful spring morning on Monday, April 17, 2006. The 110th Boston Marathon, when the city of Boston shuts down to allow 20,000 runners to attempt finishing one of, if not, the most challenging courses in the country. Julie and Venus met on this wonderful day because Boston University happens to be along the race course not too far from the finish line and the school descends into a state of drunken debauchery to cheer on these runners. There were many more parties, where Julie and Venus made more friends who are now invited to their 40th birthday and celebration of almost 20 years of friendship. <3
