Lauren is Julie’s Matron of Honor. Lauren (more commonly known as “it”) and Julie have grown up together, they met in Pre-K and have been friends for 28 years. Despite not having lived in the same city since high school, Julie and Lauren have remained best friends since they were toddlers. Lauren recently got married and has stated she is fully ready to take on her “second full time job” as Matron of Honor!

Dan and Tommy, or “Pop Tart” as he affectionately calls him, have been friends for almost 20 years. They met in high school where they played football together and remained as close as brothers ever since. Dan truly is the life of the party and is a devoted husband and father of 3.

Cortney Davis

Cortney is Julie’s sister-in-law. Cort and Julie have developed a close friendship over the past 6 years. Julie is extremely grateful to have such a wonderful sister-in-law that she can call a true friend. Cortney is also now a student of the University of Central Florida, which has brought Julie and Cortney even closer. Go Knights!!!

Greg and Tommy go back as far as cub scouts, which is amazing to say about 25 years. Greg is a graduate of the Merchant Marine academy, recently honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy after achieving the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He is now a lawyer, husband and father to Tommy’s godson Mac. MAC!

Patty and Julie met at the University of Central Florida after class. Patty and Julie were in the elevator together, Patty stuck out her hand to Julie and said “Hi, I’m Patty! Do you want to have lunch??”and their friendship grew through the years. Patty and Julie were roommates all throughout college and were neighbors all the years Julie lived in Orlando. Patty and Julie remain close and try to visit each other as often as possible in Orlando and Fort Lauderdale.

The one they call “Lunchbox”. Tommy and Steven met in college where they lived together in the fraternity house. Box has been family from the beginning. Quite possibly the funniest, most genuine and reliable person you’ll ever meet. There is nothing that either of them wouldn’t do for each other. He is an amazing husband and loving father.

Meg and Julie met working at UCP in Orlando. There was a holiday party and Meg invited Julie to come to the “pre-party” at her condo where they knew they would develop a life-time friendship. Throughout the years, Julie and Meg have had an extremely close friendship that is loyal through and through. Fun fact! Meg actually introduced Tommy and Julie years ago! Meg’s now husband was playing softball with Tommy so the girls went for cocktails with the boys and to watch the game. Tommy later told Julie he hit a home-run for her! Meghan lives in New Jersey currently and its excited about the trips to sunny Florida within the next year!

Bubba is the youngest of Dan’s brothers who Tommy has known since Bubba was in grade school. Through the years, Tommy has remained close with all the Simmons boys, but since moving back to Ft Lauderdale, none closer than Bubba who he lived with. By far, he is the coolest guy at this wedding.

"Lo" and Julie met through Meghan! And what a wonderful thing to have happened. Julie and Lo have a lot of similar interests; music and sports just to name a few! They love to attend all country concerts (especially Zac Brown Band) together as well as have been season ticket buddies for the UCF Knights for several years!

Zach and Tommy were roommates in Orlando for years. After Tommy moved away from Orlando, they remained close and visit each other every time they get a chance. Zach was there from the beginning when Tommy and Julie began dating. He practically knows Tommy almost as well as Julie and is a real instigator of a good time.

Sarah and Julie became fast friends on a vacation in Key West about 6 years ago. Sarah is from Virginia and was working for Disney in Orlando. Julie and Sarah were roommates for 3 years in Orlando. Sarah has moved back to Virginia, but is looking forward to travels in this next year to reunite with her Florida feels!

Steven is Tommy's one and only brother. He is a senior at UCF following in Tommy's footsteps, majoring in Finance. Steven is the sweetest kid in the world and Tommy is so proud to have him by his side on his big day.

Joelle and Julie met in the 5th grade. Both of their mothers worked at the same school. Julie and Joelle went from 6th-12th grade together and then continued on to study at UCF. They were roommates for two years in Orlando. Joelle currently lives in Hawaii, which has been a very nice vacation spot for Julie over the past few years ;).

Tommy couldn’t have found a better brother in law. Since the moment they met, they hit it off as if they’d been friends since childhood. Jake is an Active Duty Boatswain’s mate in U.S. Coast Guard and is a loving husband and father of two.

Danielle and Julie met through mutual friends while studying at UCF in undergraduate school. Danielle and Julie were roommates for 2 years and developed a long-lasting friendship. Danielle and Julie get to see each other pretty often as Danielle lives in Boynton Beach, FL. Danielle was recently married and Julie was honored to be a part of her big day and is thrilled Danielle will be a part of hers! ;)

Michelle and Julie met in Graduate School at UCF. They became fast friends, despite the stress and torture that grad school had to offer, haha! Michelle and Julie were roommates for 3 years in downtown Orlando where they had some bad-ass parties, lots of late night conversations, and tons of pizza and Ben and Jerry’s pints! Julie was Michelle’s maid of honor in her wedding a few years ago and Julie is beyond excited that Michelle will be a part of hers!

"Laur" (for short) and Julie met in Grad School at UCF. They studied all the time and celebrated getting through night classes at Friday’s with a few beers. Lauren and Julie were neighbors in Orlando for a few years. Laur and Julie have traveled the country together and have become closer as the years have passed despite not living in the same city anymore.

Lisa and Julie met in the 5th grade and have been close ever since. Lisa and Julie were neighbors when they were in high school and never missed an opportunity to spend time together whether it was doing hair and make- up, shopping, or just chatting the hours away. Lisa’s wedding was the first of many weddings Julie was ever a part of and Julie is honored that Lisa will be a part of her big day too!

Devan and Julie met at work in Orlando at Hunters Creek. Devan is an Occupational Therapist and she and Julie have a lot in common and many of the same interests, especially Britney Spears. Devan and Julie became immediate friends and have continued their friendship throughout the years.
