About 1HR 45Mins from the venue you can visit the home and gardens of the world famous Claud Monet and where he got his inspirations from his lilypads. You will definitely need a car for this, so maybe do it on your way to the chateau or on your way back on Monday.
Visit this charming town. On Saturdays they have a typical French market from 8AM to 1PM in the "Centre Ville" go walk around, snack, and pick up some local souvenirs.
Visit The Château de Falaise which is a castle located about 50 mins from the venue. William the Conqueror, the son of Duke Robert of Normandy, was born at an earlier castle on the same site in about 1028. William went on to conquer England and become king and possession of the castle descended through his heirs until the 13th century when it was captured by King Philip II of France.
Another Natural Park which is closer to the town of Mortagen Au Perche if you are staying there (the other Park is closer to the venue). walk/hike around this area for a bit.
Beautiful little village about 35 mins from the venue. Has one of the most known cathedrals in all of France. Visit it and walk around this charming town.
