Taylor and I both had sworn off dating websites due to poor experiences (him: 1 or 2. Me...well, you can just imagine how many frogs I've dated). However, one day in early March 2024, we both felt a deep urge (we like to say that God prompted us both) to get back on Hinge (one of the many dating apps out there). Taylor noticed my profile and sent a "like". I received the notification and wasn't sure about him, but a stirring said "Give him a chance. He has nice eyes and a nice smile." We started talking that day and haven't stopped since. Days turned into weeks, weeks into months and now here we are getting ready to spend forever together. We have seen God's provision in our relationship every step of the way. From meeting family members and friends, moving Taylor from the Saginaw area to Metro Detroit, job provision and more, we know that each step has been guided by our faith that God has brought us together for a purpose in this time.
