Eagle River is a small town nestled in Wisconsin's Northwoods, it is part of the world's largest chain of freshwater lakes. This chain consists of 28 interconnected lakes, with 10 of them forming Eagle River’s lower chain, linked by a dam to the upper chain in Three Lakes. Julie’s family has deep roots in the area, specifically on Catfish Lake, with five generations of family history. Sam quickly and seamlessly embraced the Northwoods tradition with open arms since first visiting in 2014, shortly after Sam and Julie started dating.
We think this question will answer itself when you experience the natural beauty, the fresh, crisp air, the scent of pine and water, or the sound of a loon call echoing across the lake at sunset. In the heart of Wisconsin’s Northwoods, Eagle River holds natural beauty, tradition, and an undeniable sense of peace and connection that we hope to honor in our wedding celebration. We feel so lucky to start out forever on these hallowed grounds surrounded by the warmth of those who mean the most to us.
