FAQs

Question

Is it required to stay at the wedding resort to attend the wedding events?

Answer

Yes. All guests planning to attend the wedding events are required to stay at the wedding resort and book their accommodations through our room block. This is a requirement of the resort, and only guests staying on property will have access to the wedding venues and events. Thank you so much for understanding and for helping us make the weekend run smoothly.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Yes! We specifically chose a resort that allows guests under 18 so our families could celebrate with us. We’ve already included the children of each household in our guest count, so every family member is welcome to join in on the fun!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family! If your formal invitation was addressed to you “and guest,” then yes — you’re welcome to bring a plus one. If not, we kindly ask that you attend solo, as we’re keeping our guest list intimate. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding will be outdoors, right on the sand alongside the beach! Since we’ll be celebrating in beautiful Cancun, you can expect warm weather—typically around 80°F—so plan your attire accordingly to stay cool and comfortable while enjoying the ocean breeze.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is beach formal—think polished, yet relaxed! We want everyone to feel dressed up for a special occasion without going over the top. For the guys, shorts with a nice button-up shirt are totally fine, but suits are welcome if you’d like to elevate your look. Ladies, we love the idea of flowy maxi dresses, sundresses, or skirts—and if pants and a chic blouse are more your style, go for it! Since the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place right on the sand, we recommend skipping the heels or wedges and opting for comfy sandals or barefoot vibes instead.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM, and we kindly ask guests to arrive by 3:40 PM to allow plenty of time to make your way to the beach and be seated before the procession begins. We can’t wait to share this special moment with you as the sun starts to dip over the water.
