Ijams Nature Center
This is where our wedding will be held! Paige works at Ijams Nature Center. With 320 acres and 14 miles of trails, there is plenty to explore here. Meads Quarry has an outfitter to rent kayaks and standup paddleboards.
Sevier Avenue
This is the heart of South Knoxville. On Sevier Ave are some of our favorite restaurants including South Coast Pizza, Honeybee Coffee Co, Angry Dumplings Tea, Alliance Brewing, Southside Garage, and others.
Urban Wilderness Gateway Park
Knoxville's Urban Wilderness has over 60 miles of trails and greenways that connect you to a beautiful nature center (Ijams!), pristine lakes, historic sites, dramatic quarries, adventure playgrounds, five city parks, and a 600-acre wildlife area.
Market Square Farmers Market
Every Saturday 9AM-1PM, Knoxville's largest farmers market hosts vendors who sell pretty much everything. Market Square is the heart of the downtown area.
UT Gardens Knoxville
Julie works at UT Knoxville! This on-campus horticulture garden is beautiful.
Old City
Old City has a variety of restaurants, breweries, and shops. Our favorites are Chismoso, Pretentious Beer Co, and Wabi Wear Repair.
