Wedding beach attire (Men: summer suits, khakis and polo shirt, Women: summer dresses)
Yes.
We would recommend that you stay at the Hyatt Ziva, where the wedding will take place. We have reserved group rates for our guests through the link provided on the Hotel Reservations tab on this wedding website. Offsite guests require an additional fee to attend the wedding, so please make plans to stay onsite. Thank you!
We would recommend that you plan to get into PV, Mexico by Friday at the latest. We will have a welcome cocktail reception at the Sunset Bar located on the resort Friday evening prior to guests’ dinner plans.
After you’ve received your luggage from baggage claim and gone through Mexico customs, please be aware that there will be a tunnel of people who pose as very official looking airport workers who are trying to sell time share (they will be very pushy like car salesmen). Walk through and ignore them until you get through this tunnel and you’ll see taxi booths, which you cant miss, you can get transportation (one way fare should be around $15-$25 to the Hyatt Ziva). If you’re interested in prebooking transportation transfer, here are some links below for booking: Superior Transfers: http://superiortoursvallarta.com/vallarta-airport-transfers Puerto Vallarta Incentives: https://vallartaincentives.com
We recommend that you exchange your currency at your local bank prior to the trip. You can do it at the resort, however, the exchange rate while in Mexico might not be as favorable compared to doing it at home. Paying with Pesos versus the USD for cab rides, souvenirs, or any activities will guarantee the best value.
