We met in the break room on my first day at Bed Bath & Beyond! What started out as co-workers slowly transformed into a friendship over the course of a couple of years. The instant connection we had was something we never experienced before and the rest was history!

We went on a weekend trip to D.C. with my Mom to visit my Dad who was laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery when I was 8. When we arrived, Mitch gestured me over to him where my Dad was. He asked me if I was okay. I looked at him curiously and said I was. With that answer, he said "Well, with your Dad here, I thought it would be appropriate to ask you something." Next thing I knew, he was down on one knee! Through happy tears, I said, "Yes!"
