Julie got asked to sub on a softball team with her Maid of Honor Makela, and they just so happened to be playing against Michael’s team. She had no idea who he was, but when he was coaching third base and she was playing third base they had a brief chat. Julie went on to play another game thinking she’d never see him again, but after the games both of their teams somehow ended up at the same bar. That’s where Michael went up to her in front of her team and asked for her number! The rest is history.

Back when Julie and Michael first met, she introduced him to two of the most important things in her life, Cash and Milo, her dogs. When he first met them we took them to a nearby trail to walk them. Fast forward to over a year later on Julie's birthday, Michael planned to take our dogs for a walk back to that same trail that afternoon. Little did Julie know that waiting for us back at the entrance were both of our parents and a photographer. He got down on one knee in the place where Julie first let him fully in her heart. It was the most magical day!
